The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova commented on the statement of the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell.
He touched upon the topic of Afghanistan and tried to call on the public to a collective solution to the problem. Zakharova noted that Western countries created chaos on the territory of Afghanistan, invaded there, and now they are looking for those responsible for the situation that has developed there.
“He said that the situation in Afghanistan is a shared responsibility! In the best traditions: first create a problem, and then look for those responsible and appeal to collective efforts”, – the diplomat wrote in her Telegram channel.
Borrell spoke on behalf of the states that for 20 years “put things in order” in Afghanistan. The United States and its partners caused the disaster, and when it got out of control, they just fled.
