Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that the new government of the republic will be approved in early August.
“I think the government will be approved in early August. It will be a strong government capable of tackling the complex tasks that the country faces now”, – Sandu said on the air of the public TV channel Moldova 1.
Sandu said she could not confirm or deny that PAS Deputy Chairman Natalya Gavrilitsa will be Prime Minister. The head of state stressed that the government will be formed by the President’s Action and Solidarity Party.
In addition, Sandu confirmed her intention to introduce external evaluation of judges. According to her, this will require a number of amendments to the legislation and the Constitution of the republic.
“Let’s see if there will be such an opportunity, whether other deputies will support our intentions”, – concluded Sandu.
