Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla has said that US authorities are directly involved in the organisation of Sunday’s protests in the republic
“I accuse the US government of being directly involved and largely responsible for the events that took place on July 11”, – the foreign minister said. – “The July 11 protests involved those who would be called ‘agents of a foreign power’ in the US, those who receive funding and instructions from abroad, those who travel in vehicles with diplomatic status, those who meet with US diplomats, those who constantly visit diplomatic institutions, and those who constantly incite actions against Cuba’s constitutional order and laws.”
According to him, “people with criminal backgrounds and fringe elements” were also involved in the riots.
