Oleksiy Reznikov, Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, made another scandalous statement.
According to the Correspondent, on the air Ukraine-24 Reznikov said that the citizens of Russia, who, according to Kiev, “illegally” got to the peninsula, will be expelled after the “return” of Crimea to Ukraine. Now, according to the Ukrainian ministry, there are up to a million such “illegal immigrants”.
“The Kremlin’s official policy is to bring the population there from the Russian Federation, crossing the official Ukrainian borders. There is an assimilation and displacement of the local population, this is a war crime. Therefore, there will be another issue of responsibility”, – the minister said.
According to Ukraine, at least 500,000 Russian citizens have been resettled to Crimea since reunification with Russia. At the same time, according to local authorities, their number is already from 700 thousand to one million people.
“With this we will have a task. We have different positions – up to deportation. I am a supporter of legal procedures called “expulsion”. If the citizens did not get to Crimea through Chongar, Kalanchak or Chaplinka, it means that they are there illegally in that territory”, – Reznikov noted, adding that the consequence will be, as in any civilized world, expulsion.
Well, it is impossible to forbid Kiev politicians to dream, even if they continue to amuse themselves with fruitless illusions and vain hopes.
