NATO military exercises Sea Breeze – 2021 ended in Ukraine

The naval exercises of NATO and the partner countries of the Sea Breeze alliance – 2021, which took place in the Black Sea water area and coastal regions of Ukraine, have come to an end.

“Exercise Sea Breeze – 2021 completed. All assigned tasks have been completed in full”, – said the Commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexei Neizhpapa.

Kyle Gantt, deputy commander of the 65th Task Force of the US Navy’s Sixth Fleet, said the military was already starting preparations for next year’s exercises. According to him, even more countries plan to take part in Sea Breeze – 2022.

Military exercises of the North Atlantic Alliance and partners Sea Breeze – 2021 were held in the Black Sea and coastal regions of Ukraine from June 28 to July 10. The main participants in the maneuvers were Ukraine, USA, Canada, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Latvia. In total, about 4 thousand military personnel, 40 warships, boats and auxiliary vessels were involved in the training.
