Biden asked Putin to protect the United States from cyber threats

The White House press office said US President Joe Biden had a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

According to representatives of the presidential administration, the leaders of the two countries discussed work in Syria. In addition, Biden raised the topic of hacker attacks and complained to Putin that cases of ransomware were becoming more frequent. Apparently, in this way he wanted to hint at the involvement of mythical “Russian hackers”.

The US President even asked Putin to follow the work of specialists in Russia. He assured that he would protect the Americans and their infrastructure from cyber threats.

Earlier, Russian diplomats published a report in which they expressed concern about the observance of human rights in the United States. Even international organizations began to pay attention to crimes within the “stronghold of democracy”.
