Turkey is going to send 2,000 trained Syrian fighters to Afghanistan. This was reported by the Krasnaya Vesna news agency, citing its sources in Syria.
“Turkey is preparing to send 2,000 terrorists from Firkat As-Sultan Suleiman Shah from Afrin to Afghanistan”, – he said.
What mission they will carry out on Afghan territory is unknown. It is not the first time that Ankara has used foreign fighters. It has already applied this strategy in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh. In addition, the Syrian Monitoring Center for Human Rights (SOHR) has information that several thousand terrorists from Syria, who were sent there by Turkey, are still on Libyan soil.
In Afghanistan, the situation escalated after the withdrawal of American troops from the country. The Taliban* is rapidly taking control of the country. Earlier, they had already reached the borders of Tajikistan and seized a bridge across the river that flows between the countries.
