Permanent Representative of Crimea said that Ukraine tried to disrupt his speech at the UN

Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean Government, Permanent Representative of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov said that the Ukrainian side four times interrupted his speech at the UN platform, dedicated to the observance of human rights.

Muradov took part in the 47th session of the UN Human Rights Council on Friday. The meeting was held in conference mode.

“The Ukrainian side, unfortunately, continues the policy of destructive, cultureless and boorish behavior towards representatives of Russia and Crimea, in particular at international venues. My speech was interrupted four times, trying to prevent the international community from communicating the truth about the degrading situation with fundamental human rights. on the territory of Ukraine”, – Muradov told RIA Novosti.

The Permanent Representative emphasized that with the silent inaction of the NATO and EU countries in Ukraine, not only whole human rights institutions are being infringed, but openly destroyed – their historical native language is taken away from the population, freedom of religion is almost destroyed.

“Today, the indigenous peoples of this country, who have lived in its present territories for centuries, have fallen under the rink of the Ukrainian authorities. This is a nationalist attack not only on the Russian and Russian-speaking majority. It is also an outlawing of Belarusians, Jews, Poles, Hungarians, who have traditionally lived here for hundreds of years, Bulgarians, Armenians, Moldovans, Greeks and representatives of many other national groups, for example, Rusyns or Carpathossians”, – Muradov emphasized. A similar situation, according to the permanent representative, has developed in the Baltic countries, where the rights of Russians are also grossly violated.

According to him, if Ukraine sought to respect human rights, they would take an example from Crimea, where the preservation and free development of national languages, cultures and religions is ensured.
