Lithuania says they intend to build a “physical barrier” on the border with Belarus
“We will start building an additional physical barrier, which will separate Lithuania and Belarus. It will be a clear sign and a certain deterrent to those, organizing the flow of illegal migrants”, – said Prime Minister Ingrida Shimonite.
The statement of the Lithuanian prime minister was assessed by German journalist and political scientist Alexander Sosnovsky. He made an interesting proposal to Lithuania, which he formulated in his Telegram-channel. The idea is a mutually beneficial exchange.
“I would like to propose to Lithuania to make an agreement with Lukashenko. Vilnius sends back to the place of residence all the camarilla, which found a refuge there. And Batska, just like that, will keep the refugees. In my opinion, it is profitable. To exchange a couple of dozens of outcasts for a hundred thousand refugees – how much money can Lithuania save?” – The political analyst stated his opinion.
