The United States is set to pursue more effective policies in Asia, said White House National Security Council’s coordinator for Indo-Pacific affairs Kurt Campbell
US President Joe Biden intends to hold a summit with the leaders of India, Japan and Australia in 2021. Kurt Campbell, coordinator for Indo-Pacific affairs at the White House National Security Council, said on Tuesday.
“I think later this year when President [Biden] hosts the leaders of the quadripartite dialogue countries in Washington, you will see some changes that will be crucial not only on vaccine diplomacy, but also on infrastructure”, – he said during a video conference of the Asia Society Research Centre.
Campbell also noted that the United States is going to pursue “more effective” policies in Asia, particularly on economic agreements and digital issues.
