Apparently for American journalists there is no difference – Ukraine or Mongolia.
According to the Antifashist portal, the American television channel CNN broadcast a map of Ukraine, on which Kiev was designated as “Ulan Bator”. Aleksey Pushkov, Chairman of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy, commented on the knowledge of American mass media in political geography.
“CNN is convinced that the capital of Ukraine, which is supposedly so important to the United States, is Ulan Bator. Apparently, they proceed from the fact that Ukraine is a very distant outskirts. And since the Ukrainian authorities always agree with what comes from the United States, they urgently need to rename Kiev to Ulan Bator”, – Pushkov wrote on his Twitter page.
