US and NATO forces leave Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan

The United States Department of Defense has not disclosed when the base will be returned to the Armed Forces of the republic

The United States and NATO forces have left the air base in the Afghan city of Bagram (Parwan province), TASS reported, citing a US Defense Department spokesman.

“All coalition forces have left Bagram”, –  AFP news agency quoted him as saying.

He did not specify exactly when the withdrawal from the base took place. He also did not say when it would be returned to the Afghan Armed Forces.
