Lukashenko announced the end of the anti-terrorist operation in Belarus

A large-scale anti-terrorist operation ended on Friday in Belarus, President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko said at the ceremony of presenting state awards.

He arrived at the event later than the originally scheduled time. In his speech, the head of state commented on the delay.

“Today we were finishing a large-scale anti-terrorist operation in the country. Terror inside the country against people and objects continues. In the near future we will tell you about it”, – the BelTA state agency quoted Lukashenko as saying.

He added that in connection with the situation, the official Minsk through counterintelligence will make claims “not to some Heiko Maas, the German Foreign Minister, but to the Chancellor himself and some of the German leadership”.

He promised to give details later.
