American Ambassador John Sullivan returned to Russia and met with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
The diplomat said that his first visit to the Foreign Ministry after the resumption of work on June 24 was positive. This was reported to RIA Novosti.
“I met with the Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov, it was a positive meeting. We look forward to working together further”, – Sullivan said.
The return of diplomats to Russia and the United States was discussed by Presidents Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden during a meeting in Geneva. They managed to reach an agreement and agree on the resumption of diplomatic missions.
