Trade turnover between Russia and Ukraine has increased by 8%

According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, trade turnover between Moscow and Kiev in five months increased by 7.87% to $3.21 billion.

 

“In total, during January – May 2021, exports of goods to Russia reached $1.2 billion, which is 10.2% more than a year earlier. Imports of goods from Russia to Ukraine will reach $2bn, up 6.56% year-on-year”, –  the Customs Service said on its website.

Between January and May 2021, Russia ranked third in monetary terms with Ukraine after China and Germany. According to the Customs Service, the trade turnover between Ukraine and Russia will reach 7.3bn dollars in 2020.

In 2020, the main ones supplied from Russia were fuel and lubricants, civilian vehicles of all kinds, live cattle and small ruminants, meat and meat products, dairy products, vegetables and other. From Ukraine, Russia imports rolled metal and metal products, chemical products, timber and other pulp and paper products.
