Chinese Foreign Ministry denied information about increased tension on the border with India

“In general, the situation on the border between China and India remains stable, both sides are engaged in the settlement of relevant issues through negotiations”, – he said at a briefing.

“Against this background, all political statements and military redeployments are aimed at reducing tensions”.

According to the diplomat, all actions taken by Beijing and New Delhi at different levels to eliminate contradictions on the joint border “take into account the interests of both sides”.
