FSS warned British ship to open fire when crossing border in Crimea

The crew of an FSB border boat warned the crew of the British destroyer Defender several times to open fire if it crossed the Russian border, and then fired warning shots from the on-board gun on the ship’s course

This follows video footage published by the Russian Federal Security Service.

“Crossed the state border of the Russian Federation. If it goes over the border further than 10 cables, you execute a warning shot, – ” says one of the officers in the command deck room of the FSS vessel.

Then in the course of negotiations the crew of the British vessel is ordered to change its course several times or else fire will be opened. The vessel does not change course, after which a crew member in the deckhouse commands the opening of warning fire, specifically noting that the British vessel must not be hit. The ship’s stern gun fires three warning shots.
