Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapic announced that Montenegro aspires to EU membership by the end of 2024, RTCG reports.
The prime minister said the country wants to join the EU by the end of 2024, before the end of the current mandate of the European Commission.
“This government wants to work at an accelerated pace. There is no time to waste”, – he added.
He noted that the pro-Western course of Montenegro is irreversible, while the country is absolutely independent, and independence can never be questioned.
Krivokapich said that the current government wants to bring corruption to zero, no matter what “organized crime, united in international networks” is.
