Personal impressions of the President of Switzerland from the meeting with Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden
“Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin talked for five minutes, and I immediately felt that everything was going well between them, between them as people”, – said Swiss President Guy Parmelin, whose country organized the summit.
Also, the Swiss leader noted with sympathy the directness of his Russian colleague.
“Vladimir Putin is one of those who don’t beat around the bush. His words are directed straight to the goal. He listens and answers. The exchange of views is taking place in a very pleasant atmosphere. I appreciate this quality”, – the politician said.
According to him, Putin “does not like things that involve a lot of decency and excessive protocol, he wants to get straight to the point.
