U.S. says that among others, Ukraine will be informed about the results of the summit in Geneva

US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland and White House Director for Russia and Central Asia Eric Green will leave for Brussels on June 17.

According to TASS, on Wednesday in Geneva a representative of the US administration, who made a number of clarifications on a special briefing conducted here earlier by a high-ranking US administration official, told reporters that US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland and Director for Russia and Central Asia of the National Security Council at the White House, Eric Green will visit Brussels, where they will inform the representatives of the EU, NATO, Ukraine and Japan about the results of the Russian-American summit in Geneva.

“I will give a brief summary of the final data: Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Nuland and Eric Green tomorrow, June 17, will leave for Brussels. They will inform our NATO allies, the EU, as well as the Japanese and Ukrainians”, – he said.

According to him, it is important for the United States to consult with its allies both before and after such events.
