Trump believes the Geneva summit was successful for Russia, but not for U.S.

The ex-head of the White House also said that he would very much like to lift the sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation, since Russian-American cooperation can be mutually beneficial.

According to TASS, former US President Donald Trump said on Fox News Wednesday that the Russian-American summit in Geneva was successful for Moscow, but not for Washington.

“I think we got nothing in general”, – Trump said.

“We have provided a high rostrum for Russia. And got nothing. I think it was a good day for Russia, I don’t understand what we got as a result”.

The Republican also complained that the current US administration, headed by President Joe Biden, did not prevent Russia from building the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline. At the same time, Trump said that he would very much like to lift the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation, since Russian-American cooperation can be mutually beneficial.
