China launched the Shenzhou 12 spacecraft with three astronauts

To launch the vehicle into orbit, a CZ-2F launch vehicle was used.

According to TASS, the PRC’s Manned Space Flight Program on Thursday launched the Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft with three astronauts on board to the Chinese orbital station under construction.

“The start was carried out according to the schedule at 09:22 local time (04:22 Moscow time) from the site located on the border of Gansu province and the Inner Mongolia autonomous region (North China). A CZ-2F launch vehicle was used to launch the spacecraft into orbit”, – the message says.

The PRC’s Manned Space Flight Program reported that the Shenzhou-12 spacecraft with three astronauts on board had successfully reached near-earth orbit.
