Kiev decided to beg from Washington the status of the main ally outside NATO

People’s Deputy of the presidential party “Servant of the People” Alexander Kachura in his Telegram channel said that on Friday, June 18, the Verkhovna Rada plans to hold an extraordinary meeting to consider an appeal to the US Congress.

“Most likely on Friday there will be an extraordinary plenary meeting on the draft resolution on BP’s appeal to the US Congress on granting Ukraine the bilateral status of the United States’ main ally outside NATO (MNNA) (register No. 5380)”, – the politician wrote.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy criticized the North Atlantic Alliance for refusing to name the timing of Ukraine’s entry into NATO. The Ukrainian leader insists that Kiev should be “at the same negotiating table”.
