In his tg-channel, the well-known publicist Alexei Pushkov said that the resulting communique of the meeting in this one took 27 pages and contained a lot of interesting things.
“The G7 is making deliberately unrealistic demands on China. What does it mean to “stop economic expansion”? Are they saying this to China? For him, this is a key component of his entire development and transformation into the N1 power. I believe that the G7 still understands this, and therefore does not expect Beijing to fulfill this requirement. However, they thereby confirm the doctrinal foundations of the policy of containing the PRC. The demands on Moscow are just as unrealistic and are only needed to justify a policy of hostility to Russia. This is exactly how this document should be perceived – as a manifesto of the united West in relation to Russia and China.
