G7 countries have a common view on China, which is that Beijing poses a significant challenge to democracies. US President Joe Biden’s national security aide Jake Sullivan said.
“There is a broad consensus that China presents a significant challenge to democracies at various levels and that we need a common agenda that will determine where we will respond to China and where we will compete with it. All the leaders were talking about this, not just Biden. So it wasn’t the case that he had to prove his point”, – Sullivan said.
