Ukraine tries to dictate its terms for Nord Stream 2 launch

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has named “conditions for the launch” of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

“We are against Nord Stream 2. A condition for its launch must be the de-occupation of our territories and Ukraine’s energy security. Fair compensation for threats”, – the minister wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, in an interview with German newspaper Die Welt, Kuleba said that Ukraine plans to receive compensation from the US after the launch of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
