Two NATO warships enter the Black Sea

The National Defence Control Centre has reported that two NATO warships have entered the waters of the Black Sea, RIA Novosti reports

The British Navy’s missile destroyer Defender and the Dutch Navy’s frigate Everton have entered the Black Sea. It is noted that the NATO warships are monitored by the Black Sea Fleet forces.

Earlier it was reported that the US destroyer Labun had entered the Black Sea waters. Earlier this year, two more destroyers, the USS Porter and the USS Donald Cook, entered the Black Sea. NATO claimed that the destroyers were sent to the Black Sea due to Russia’s “military build-up”.
