Biden’s national security aide Jake Sullivan also said that the US president intends to touch on Ankara’s relations with Moscow and Beijing in his conversation with the Turkish leader
According to TASS, Biden’s national security aide Jake Sullivan said at a briefing for reporters on Sunday that US President Joe Biden intended to discuss with Turkish leader Tayyip Erdogan at the NATO summit the subject of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems deployed in Turkey.
“Yes, he will discuss it. S-400, yes, anti-aircraft missile systems”, – he said, responding to a related question.
However, Sullivan would not say exactly what Biden might say to Erdogan on the subject. The presidential aide said however that Biden, in his conversation with the Turkish leader, intends to touch upon Ankara’s relations with Moscow and Beijing.
