Johnson and Merkel discuss “destabilising activities of China and Russia” on the margins of the G7 summit

This was stated in a communiqué issued by the British Prime Minister’s Office on Saturday following talks between the two politicians on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Cornwall, England

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed the activities of China and Russia, it was  reported.

“They discussed a number of international issues, including the destabilising activities of China and Russia”, –  the Downing Street communiqué noted.

Moscow strongly and consistently rejected claims by Western leaders that its activities were destabilising or aggressive.
