NATO is ready to cooperate with Russia, offers to use existing channels for this, said the secretary general of the alliance Jens Stoltenberg.
“It is important to use the existing agreed channels for dialogue with the Russian Federation, so that it is a meaningful dialogue within the framework of the formats that have already proven themselves. Therefore, we proposed to hold a meeting of the Russia-NATO Council. So far Russia has not responded positively to this”, – Stoltenberg said to the press -conference in Brussels ahead of the bloc summit on June 14.
