London found no evidence of Russia’s involvement in Ryanair landing in Minsk

Earlier, British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab said that he “finds it hard to believe that such actions could have been carried out without at least the tacit consent of the authorities in Moscow”.

According to TASS, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom Dominic Raab in an interview, excerpts from which Reuters quoted on Friday, said that the British government did not find any concrete evidence that Russia could be involved in the incident with the landing of the plane of the Irish airline Ryanair at the Minsk airport.

“We do not have any additional indications of Russia’s involvement in the forced landing of a Ryanair civilian aircraft in Belarus”, – Raab said, saying that he did not rule out such a possibility, since “it is difficult for him to believe that such actions could have been carried out without at least the tacit consent of the authorities in Moscow”.

At the same time, he admitted that London does not have accurate information on this matter. Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called the assumptions of Western politicians and the media about the “hand of Moscow” in the situation with the Ryanair board groundless and drew attention to the need to thoroughly study the facts before drawing any conclusions.
