According to RIA Novosti, on Friday, CNN TV channel, citing sources familiar with the decision in the American administration, said that US Presidents Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin did not intend to hold a joint press conference following the next week’s summit in Geneva.
“At the moment, President Biden and Russian President Putin are not expected to hold a joint press conference following their important summit in Geneva next week”, – the channel said.
It is noted that the program of the upcoming event has not yet been finally formed and may be subject to adjustment.
“However, officials involved in the preparations for the summit said that, as of Friday, no joint press conference is expected”, – CNN said in a statement.
