“We are also interested in being able to finance interconnection between a member state and a third country, for example, with the Republic of Moldova, through European funds”, – said Romanian Energy Minister Virgil Popescu.

According to him, this issue will be considered on June 11 in Luxembourg in the Council of Ministers. Popescu also noted that Bucharest also wants to be able to finance the transport network between Romania and Moldova at the expense of European funds, which “is now practically impossible on the territory of both states”.
