At least three people were killed and five injured on Sunday in a terrorist attack in southern Libya. This was reported by the TV channel Al Arabiya.
A suicide bomber blew himself up in the evening at a checkpoint at the entrance to Sebha, the largest city in the south, 750km from Tripoli.
According to Libyan news portal Al-Wasat, the victims included two officers of the local Criminal Investigation Department.
No details of the incident have been given yet. No one has yet claimed responsibility for what happened.
