“The Serum Institute of India on Wednesday submitted an application to the Comptroller General of Medicines of India to authorize the production of the Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine in India”, – the source said.
Earlier, Dr. Reddy’s. company got a permission for use of Sputnik V in India. Three batches of Russian vaccine have already been delivered from Russia to India. In May, Dr. Reddy’s announced the beginning of the use of “Sputnik V” to vaccinate the population of India.
India remains in second place in the world in the number of detected cases of coronavirus.
