Erdogan told what issues he intends to discuss at the meeting with Biden

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan intends to discuss the reasons for the tension in relations between Ankara and Washington at the upcoming meeting with the head of the White House Joe Biden

In an interview with TRT TV, Erdogan said that during the talks it is planned to raise the question of why relations between Turkey and the United States are in such a phase of tension. In addition, the Turkish leader condemned Washington’s position on the Armenian genocide in the Ottoman state.

“We are tired of waiting every year on April 24 for what the United States will say about the Armenians this time. Doesn’t the US have other concerns besides how to act as a lawyer for Armenians? Let historians deal with this issue”, – Erdogan said.
