The West wants to create an image of Minsk as an enemy and stir up the situation in Belarus – Speaker of the House of Representatives

Using the situation with emergency landing of the Ryanair airline in Minsk airport, the West is trying to “isolate” the country

This was stated by Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus (lower house of parliament) Vladimir Andreichenko at a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Belarus Yevgeni Lukyanov in Minsk.
Not everyone likes the fact that there are such states as the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus on the political map of the world, Andreichenko said.

“We can see this from recent events, in particular with the landing of the Athens-Vilnius plane. The landing was made at the request of the crew. But as of today, without waiting for any investigation and without setting up any committee the blame has been placed on the Republic of Belarus.”

According to the chairman of the Lower Chamber of Parliament of Belarus, “they are trying to create an image of an enemy of the Republic of Belarus, to isolate the country.

“The goal is to cause people’s discontent. I think we should respond adequately, in a mirror-like and tough manner to these attempts to unbalance the situation in Belarus.”

Andreichenko pointed out that these are turbulent times and suggested “to meet more often, discuss various issues, be proactive and adjust the agenda”.
