Germany, Denmark, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece and Poland have begun issuing vaccination certificates since June 1. This is said in a statement by the European Commission
“Already today, seven member states – Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Croatia and Poland – have started issuing the first EU certificates, while some countries have decided to launch the digital certificate only when all functions are rolled out nationwide”, – the statement said.
The certificates are designed to renew safe travel. It is planned that they digital certificate will be proof that a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19, tested negative or recovered from the infection.
