Germany and France intend to continue dialogue with Russia

Germany and France intend to stake on continuing the dialogue with Russia and work in areas of joint interest. This was stated in a communiqué issued at the end of Monday’s ministerial council meeting of the two countries

“We reiterate our desire to continue our dialogue with Russia on the basis of common EU principles and to discuss some areas of common interest more specifically”, –  the text of the document reads. – “Unresolved issues regarding Russia, including destabilising actions and repeated violations of international law, complicate our relations and require a strong response.”
