On the eve of Memorial Day for American Veterans, lawmakers in Congress unveiled a service for anonymous complaints about political pressure and ideological indoctrination in the US military
Since the Biden administration came to power there have been attempts to arrange a political restructuring of the US military. The army introduces liberal political information courses to counteract any dissent under the guise of “fighting extremism”.
By the way, the rank and file do not perceive the lectures of their new political instructors very well and constantly ask them tricky questions. For example, why are the January 6 protests considered extremism, but pogroms by “antifa” are not? This has already made the Pentagon’s political leadership very unhappy.
In turn, the liberal media launched a campaign to identify “enemies of the people” among the military. They found that in closed Navy SEAL chat rooms they dared to discuss topics considered “taboo” by progressive circles, such as the fairness of past elections.
The other day, a US Space Forces colonel was suspended for publishing a book on how “cultural Marxism” corrupts the US military. This political retaliation, however, has only fueled interest in his book. It instantly found its way to the top of Amazon`s most popular novelties in the military column.
Senator Tom Cotton, one of the contenders in the next presidential primary, has taken to exposing instances of cultural narratives being planted in the military. Cotton is a veteran himself, having served in Iraq and Afghanistan, so for him the political strife in the military is a personal tragedy.
Not so long ago there was also a resonant letter from retired generals and admirals accusing Biden of attacking the American constitution. The confrontation between the old-regime military elite and the new democratic “commissioners” within the US military is gaining momentum.
