They plan to visit the peninsula next year in a larger group
The head of the German national-cultural autonomy of Crimea, Yuriy Hempel, stated.
A delegation of 25 citizens of the FRG arrived with an introductory visit to Crimea on May 22. The visit takes place as part of the people’s diplomacy project “Peaceful Crimea – with your own eyes. Crimean realities without European speculation”.
“The delegation’s visit has come to an end. Part of the group has already left Crimea. They are leaving with particular euphoria. Everyone notes that the peninsula, with its natural beauty and developed modern infrastructure, was a discovery for them. They were able to make sure that the Crimea is a safe region, where people live peacefully and tourists can come safely”, – Hempel said.
According to him, the German delegation wishes to visit Crimea next year in a larger team and to hold a major international hockey tournament here.
