Armed protesters demand redress in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as the city marks the 100th anniversary of the mass killing of black people

“Black Panthers” and several gun club members from across the US have gathered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a series of protests

The city is currently commemorating the anniversary of the 1921 Tulsa Racial Massacre

 

The event, called the Second Amendment Reparations March, was held on Saturday afternoon in north Tulsa. Hundreds of participants with guns in hand and wearing black and khaki paramilitary clothing marched through the city, chanting slogans “Whose streets? Our Streets” and “Black Power”. The activists also carried a large banner demanding “Reparations Now”.
