Russia has allocated 5.26 billion rubles until 2024 to support business in the implementation of pilot projects for the introduction of artificial intelligence in various sectors of the economy.
The head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, approved the rules for the provision of subsidies within the framework of the federal project “Artificial Intelligence”.
“The funds will be distributed based on the results of a competitive selection. Subsidies can be used to purchase software and hardware, pay for programmers, rent office space, maintain jobs, and other purposes. It is stated that the size of the grant per recipient should not exceed 100 million rubles”, – the statement on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers says.
In addition, the document provides for financing services for specialized additional education, thanks to which “thousands of Russians will be able to receive certificates for passing special training programs in artificial intelligence”.
