Ukrainian security forces fired at the northern outskirts of Donetsk, according to the representative office of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic in the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC), a total of 12 mines were fired from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“Shelling recorded from the armed formations of Ukraine in the direction of Peski (under the control of Kiev – ed.) – Donetsk (Volvo Center)”, – quotes RIA Novosti the text of the message.

The ceasefire regime in Donbass was established on July 27 last year.

In March, the parties to the conflict in Ukraine accused each other of violating the ceasefire and transferring military equipment to the line of contact.

In turn, a number of Western countries announced an alleged intensification of Russia’s military activity near the borders with Ukraine and an escalation of “Russian aggression”.

The conflict in Ukraine has been going on since 2014. According to the UN, more than 13 thousand people were killed in the clashes.
