Anti-terrorist exercises will last until May 25, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense
“A joint Russian-Serbian tactical exercise of anti-terrorist orientation was opened in the Republic of Serbia”, – the defense ministry said.
The exercises involving special-purpose units of the two countries will last until May 25. About two hundred servicemen and 11 units of equipment of the Western Military District’s special purpose unit are taking part from the Russian side.
“In the course of the event it is planned to practise landing on Arbalet parachute systems, advance to the object of an illegal armed formation, block it and destroy it. In addition, there will be demonstrations and small arms training”, – the Russian Defence Ministry said.
