Nine people killed in blast in Afghanistan

A car bomb has exploded on a roadside mine in Helmand province in southern Afghanistan, Tolo News reported

The channel said a car carrying women and children was blown up by a roadside mine on Tuesday morning. The explosion killed nine people and injured two children.

No group has currently claimed responsibility for what happened. Earlier, an explosion at an Afghan mosque on 14 May was reported to have killed at least four people.
