Russia will supply Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine to Tajikistan free of charge. This was announced today, 19 May, by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov after talks with his Tajikistan counterpart Sirodjiddin Mukhriddin in Dushanbe
“We also talked about joint work to combat the coronavirus infection, including the supply of our Sputnik V vaccine to Tajikistan on a free-of-charge basis, which our presidents agreed upon on 8 May”, – he said.
Recall that Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon was the only foreign head of state attending the Victory Day celebrations in Moscow.
Lavrov was in Dushanbe to attend a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO).
