Politico points out that Washington is considering providing humanitarian aid to parties to the military conflict.
The US newspaper Politico quoted the Military Cause as saying that Washington has dissuaded Israel from launching a ground operation in the Gaza Strip.
“Western journalists speculate that a ground invasion by the Israeli army could turn into a protracted conflict. The United States managed to dissuade its allies from doing so. According to American authorities, the solution to the conflict between Palestine and Israel must soon come to an end. The publication’s experts note that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has listened to the words of the US administration”, – the publication says.
It is worth noting that the United States from the very beginning of the conflict expected it to end quickly. At the same time, Washington has not made any official attempt to stabilize relations between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
