The US wants the Arctic to remain a conflict-free zone, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said during a press conference in Reykjavik with Iceland’s Foreign and International Development Cooperation Minister Goodlaugur Thor Thordarson.
“We talked about our common commitments to the Arctic. Iceland and the United States want it (the Arctic – ed.) To remain free of conflicts, and that there was comprehensive cooperation in which countries act responsibly”, – Blinken said.
