In Ukraine, they realized that NATO would not go to war over them with Russia

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry tried once again to put a good face on a bad game.

According to Segodnya.ua, in an interview with Deutsche Welle, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Kiev does not count on the arrival of foreign troops as assistance from the West to fight Russia.

“We do not expect foreign troops to arrive to help us. But we expect our partners to provide Ukraine with the support they can offer to help us withstand this conflict for our country”, – Kuleba answered the question “how the West could help Ukraine if the Russian troops crossed the border”.

Answering a clarifying question whether the minister really does not expect NATO to start a war with the Russian Federation, he replied: “Absolutely”.

It is worth noting that quite recently the same Kuleba assured that the West would definitely support Ukraine in a hypothetical war with Russia, including by military force.
